Marche 2025 – Bert Bloemert Rules Afdeling 10 with 1217 m/min

On Sunday, August 17, 2025, the skies over Marche opened for another decisive race in Afdeling 10. At 10:30 AM, no fewer than 6,679 pigeons from 343 fanciers were released. With a strong northwest wind and a distance of 274 kilometers to Staphorst, this was no easy sprint – conditions demanded preparation, timing, and pigeons in peak condition.

Perpignan 2025: Heikamp & van Doorn Conquer the International Stage – 1st National and 1st International Against 11,860 Pigeons!

On Friday, August 1st at 09:45 AM, the pigeons were released from Perpignan, France, for the last and arguably most prestigious marathon race of the season. With 3,643 Dutch pigeons from 467 fanciers entered nationally and a staggering 11,860 birds participating internationally, this was no ordinary race – it was the grande finale of European long-distance racing.

Gebr. Schrik Dominate Orléans – A Crushing Victory in Sector 4!

On Saturday, August 3rd 2025, a total of 781 pigeons were released in Orléans for a challenging middle-distance race in National Sector 4. The birds took to the skies at 08:00, with light southeast winds and warm summer temperatures – conditions that made for a fast race. And fast it was: the winning pigeon clocked an average speed of 1446.494 meters per minute over 678 km. 🕊️💨
