Saturday, May 10th, 2025 – a day to remember in Dutch pigeon racing. From the heart of Region 1711, the spotlight shone brightly on Jarco de Jong, a young, passionate fancier who continues to defy expectations with each passing season. Racing from Pont-Saint-Maxence (339.885 km), Jarco delivered an awe-inspiring performance: 1st prize overall and an incredible 27 prizes out of just 35 pigeons entered!
On Saturday, May 10th, 2025, the skies above Brabant turned electric as 11,781 pigeons were released from Nanteuil (Chevrainvilliers) at 07:45 AM for a mid-distance race of approximately 353 kilometers. With clear skies, a mild eastern breeze, and warm spring weather, conditions were ideal for a fair yet competitive race.

The first major middle-distance race of the 2025 season in Section 6 was one for the history books. On Sunday, May 3rd, a staggering 11,523 pigeons from 440 fanciers were released at 07:15 from Morlincourt-Noyon. Under ideal conditions—light clouds, a light northeast wind, and a temperature of 10°C—one name soared above the rest: Lex Udo.
On Saturday, May 3rd, 2025, the M18 race in Dutch Region 7 took off from Morlincourt-Noyon. With 12,757 pigeons from 473 fanciers released at 7:35 AM, the conditions were mild: light cloud cover, a weak northeast wind, and a temperature of 14°C. The race covered 326 kilometers—and it delivered a phenomenal result.
Spring is in full swing, the skies are blue, and the temperature is perfect… In other words: the ideal moment to shift gears in our Barcelona 2025 campaign! This weekend, I – the Pigeon Boss – will basket my old birds (2 years and older) for a 400 km training flight from Pontoise to Delft.

Last Wednesday, I loaded up a group of pigeons and drove to Steenbergen for a training toss. Everything seemed perfect — blue skies, a light tailwind, and a basket full of eager wings.
