👦 From Childhood Hobby to Championship Glory

Lex’s journey began at just 10 years old, raising a couple of ornamental pigeons in a shed behind his home. With a group of friends, he formed a local boys’ racing club—biking from one loft to another to register their pigeons in a communal clock. That early passion never faded. Today, Lex is a member of Egmonds Luchtpost in Egmond aan den Hoef and one of the standout names in Dutch pigeon sport.

👩‍❤️‍👨 A Family Effort with Wife Lia

Behind every top fancier is a great partner. Lia, Lex’s wife, plays a vital role in the daily care of the birds. Whether it’s letting the young pigeons out in the morning or calling them back in, Lia supports every aspect of the loft—especially when Lex’s busy work schedule demands it. Together, they form a true championship team.

🧠 Strategic Management Year-Round

Lex follows a strict, proven routine: early selection after the season, controlled light management, separation of cocks and hens, and a focused buildup during the offseason. With training concentrated in the weekends due to work, every session counts—and it shows. His birds are both sharp and durable when it matters most.

🏆 A Loft in Peak Condition

With 15 prizes from 21 entries, 5 in the top 50, and a first-place champion named Sir Morlincourt, Lex Udo has made it clear: he’s not just participating—he’s here to dominate. This performance is the result of decades of experience, a sharp eye for detail, and an unshakable passion for pigeon racing.
