Wormer, July 26, 2025 – The sky was just beginning to glow when at exactly 08:00, the birds were released in Lennik, Belgium. A staggering 8,286 pigeons from Section 6 Noord-Holland launched into the summer air for a tough mid-distance race of just over 200 kilometers. With a steady southeast wind and rising temperatures, one thing was clear — this would be a lightning-fast contest.

And lightning struck in Wormer. Precisely 1 hour, 56 minutes and 32 seconds later, a blue rocket called "KOVACS", belonging to M. & M. Kramer, slammed onto the loft at 1,655.840 m/min. The fastest of them all. 1st against 8,286 pigeons. Brutal. Ruthless. Brilliant.

🏁 Race Conditions: Speed, Pressure, and Precision

The conditions were not really hard, a south west wind made it a prety fast race but the warmth tested the stamina of every bird. But the top arrivals cut through the sky like arrows. The speeds were so blistering that the top 10 landed within seconds of each other. Still, it was “KOVACS” who stole the show — perfectly timed, razor-sharp, and in absolute top form.

This was not just a win. This was domination.

👑 Who Are M. & M. Kramer?

Since 2007, Martijn and Marit Kramer have been the rock-solid team behind M. & M. Kramer. Based in Wormer, in the north of the Netherlands, their journey started with Martijn’s lifelong passion for pigeons, inherited from his father Fred Kramer and mentor Cees Ouwehand. Marit brings structure, care, and day-to-day dedication to the loft. Together, they form an unbreakable unit.

Their breeding base is no accident. Combining their famous “Goeie Rooie” line from the 1990s with annual top-quality additions, they’ve built a loft filled with firepower. Birds from Mr. Veenendaal, Super Harry, Leo Heremans, and Corina are woven into their bloodline. This is not a hobby. It’s a system, a vision, and a winning formula.

💎 Pedigree Power: “KOVACS” Is Built to Win

“KOVACS” (NL25-1203328 M) is not just a pigeon with speed — he is a masterpiece of genetics. His father “VITALI” is an 8th NPO long-distance winner and sire to a list of top-class results including 1st positions at Pt. St. Maxence, Peronne, Oudenaarde, and Fontenay.

On the dam's side, he descends from “SISTER TGV 421”, a full sister of the 1st Nat. Ace Long Distance WHZB-TBOTB. That makes “KOVACS” a direct product of the golden pairing “Super Harry” x “Jasmin”, surrounded by legends like Fanger Doffer, Leo Heremans’ Olympiade line, and the incredibly potent Zoon Olympiade and KLD. Olympiade.

This isn’t just a pedigree. It’s a blueprint for winning.

📈 Results That Speak Volumes

“KOVACS” did not stand alone. The full Kramer team flew with unmatched precision:

  • 1st prize against 8,286 pigeons

  • Also placed 12th, 13th, 45th, 76th, 77th, 141st, 162nd, and 187th

  • 33 prizes from 54 pigeons entered

This is the kind of consistency that doesn’t happen by chance — it’s the result of vision, strategy, and relentless focus.
